The new musical Talk of the Town will receive an industry presentation June 8 at 2 PM at the Westport Country Playhouse in Connecticut.
Directed by Mark Shanahan, the cast will be led by Adam Kantor, Samantha Massell, and John Rapson with Jeremy Radin, Becca Petersen, Ben Rauch, Mara Jill Herman, Matthew Liu, and Zach Trimmer.
Talk of the Town features a score by composer-lyricist Jeffrey Stock (Triumph of Love, A Room with a View) and a book by Andrew Bentley and Eve Potts.
The musical is inspired by the love story between Harold Ross and Jane Grant, who went on to found the New Yorker magazine, which celebrates its centennial this year.
