Laura Benanti, a Tony winner for her performance in the title role of the 2008 Broadway revival of Gypsy, will again join forces with her mother for an encore of their successful May concert at Feinstein鈥檚/54 Below.
Laura and Linda Benanti will reprise The Story Goes On October 27 and 28 at 7 PM at the intimate cabaret. They have canceled concerts originally announced for October 24 and 25, but have added four additional performances at 7 PM February 20, 21, 22, and 23.
It was recently announced that Laura Benanti has joined the cast of Steve Martin鈥檚 Meteor Shower, which begins previews at Broadway's Booth Theatre November 1.
In the cabaret act, the Benantis will again present their 鈥渕usical journey through the special relationship between a mother and daughter.鈥�Linda Benanti, an accomplished actor and singer who performed on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and regionally, has been a voice teacher in Kinnelon, New Jersey, for the past 35 years. Her last professional performance was in the 1981 revival of Brigadoon. The May engagement of The Story Goes On marked her return to the stage.

She was most recently seen on Broadway in the 2016 revival of Roundabout Theatre Company鈥檚 She Loves Me, for which she earned her fifth Tony nomination. Known for her roles in Into the Woods, Gypsy, and Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Benanti has also appeared on television on Nashville and Supergirl. Previously, she took on the role of Baroness Elsa Schraeder in NBC's The Sound of Music Live!
