News Nora, Based on Ingmar Bergman Film, Bows Tonight in Greenwich Village Nora, Swedish filmmaker Ingmar Bergman's adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's A Doll's House, gets its English-language premiere Off-Broadway starting Nov. 16 as part of the 92nd season at Greenwich Village's legendary Cherry Lane Theatre.

, the original Motel in and director of the 2015 Pulitzer Prize winner Between Riverside and Crazy, directs the production, which is scheduled to run through Dec. 13 starring as Dr. Rank.

The play had its U.S. premiere in 1989 at , but was performed in Norwegian.

The 2015-16 season will continue with developmental workshops of two new plays in the spring of 2016: the world premiere of Israel Horowitz's Out of the Mouths of Babes starring Oscar winner and , plus Nightwalker, a new play by , co-creator of hit television series "Home Improvement," "Roseanne" and others.

Located on Commerce Street in New York's Greenwich Village, Cherry Lane Theatre has produced a succession of early plays by writers whose names have lent distinction to the American and international literary and dramatic treasuries dating back to the 1920s: , W.H.
