Drunk Shakespeare will take on the Bard's notorious love story beginning this weekend, with Drunk Romeo & Juliet beginning performances May 30 at Midtown's Ruby Theatre. The acting troupe in NYC performs Shakespeare's standards with one inebriated performer leading the cast under the influence of five shots per show.
The cast, featuring some of the Drunk Shakespeare Society's newest members, will include Samuel Adams, Gracie Lee Brown, Ryan Farnsworth, Morgan Haney, Craig Jackson, Sarah Ann Leahy, Travis Raeburn, Ali Regan, Brandon Salerno, and Sky Young.
Drunk Shakespeare was originally created by Scott Griffin, David Hudson, Lori Wolter Hudson, and Beth Gardiner. Louis Markowitz, Blake Elliott, and Hunter Anderson serve as stage managers, with Kayla Walker managing The Ruby Theatre.
