The Broadway Sings concert series will present its 14th installment February 6, honoring two major legends of pop rock, with Broadway Sings Bowie/Prince at the Highline Ballroom.
The 8 PM concert will feature new arrangements of the hits of the two artists, accompanied by a 14-piece orchestra playing original orchestrations.
The lineup includes Andrew Chappelle (Hamilton), Eden Espinosa (Wicked), Gregory Haney (Hamilton), Van Hughes (Spring Awakening), Ruby Lewis (Paramour), Corey Mach (Hands on a Hardbody), Joel Perez (Fun Home), Jelani Remy (The Lion King), and Christina Sajous (Baby It鈥檚 You), with more to be announced.
The evening, the first Broadway Sings double-bill, will include Bowie鈥檚 鈥淪tarman,鈥� 鈥淗eroes,鈥� and 鈥淟ife on Mars,鈥� and Prince鈥檚 鈥淲hen Doves Cry,鈥� 鈥淧urple Rain,鈥� and 鈥淟ittle Red Corvette.鈥� Music will be orchestrated and arranged by Joshua Stephen Kartes.
