Tony Award-winning choreographers Patricia Delgado and Justin Peck just received the Tony Award for Best Choreography, but for them, the reward is in the artists they work with, and seeing them receive their flowers from the audience every night.
"The audience's reaction to this show night after night is the reward. I love our cast so much, they have inspired us, and just getting to watch them receive that energy and joy for me is the reward," said Delgado in an exclusive interview with 半岛体育 just moments after the pair's big win. Peck added: "The people that we get to work with on this [is rewarding]. It's really such an amazing community of artists and inspiring humans. Yeeah, we're making the show...but it's also about who we get to be with when we do it."
