Created and produced by Minor Theater, Julia Jarcho鈥檚 Marie It鈥檚 Time will begin performances at HERE鈥檚 Mainstage Theatre Off-Broadway September 7 ahead of a September 9 opening. The limited run is set to continue through September 24.
The three-person show is a 鈥渇ucked-up mixtape鈥� that draws inspiration from Georg B眉chner鈥檚 1913 play Woyzeck and follows performers Julia Jarcho and Jennifer Seastone as they fight for the role of B眉chner鈥檚 lead, Marie. The work also features Kedian Keohan (Good and Noble Beings) as Major.
Directed by 脕sta Bennie Hostetter, the creative team continues with original music composition by Jarcho and Jeff Aaron Bryant, sound design by Ben Williams and Elliot Yokum, set design by Meredith Ries, costume design by Hahnji Jang, and lighting design by Ebony Burton.
