Composer and music director Micah Young will offer an evening spotlighting some of his original songs June 24 at Pangea.
Entitled Celebrate Pride with Micah Young and Friends!, the 7 PM concert will also feature Broadway's Mary Page Nance (Lempicka, The Great Comet) and Vishal Vaidya (Merrily We Roll Along, Groundhog Day).
Expect an evening of stories and songs鈥攁 mix of original tunes and classic pop and Broadway鈥攚ith Young featured at the piano.
Young recently premiered his new musical, The House By the Sea, in concert at the National Arts Club. His works and commissions include Bea & Ben: A New Musical; Come in From the Cold: The Christmas Album; and Norvil & Josephine: The Comedy Magic Show. He was the musical director for the national tour of Fun Home, and his conducting credits include Broadway's Spring Awakening, Mary Poppins, Mamma Mia!, Chicago, and more.
