Benjamin Scheuer will soon release Songs from The Lion, an album made up of musical numbers from his acclaimed autobiographical show. The Lion played a return engagement Off-Broadway in March last year before heading on a country-wide tour in August. The coming-of-age musical explores themes of resilience, love, art and destiny.
In celebration of the album release, Scheuer has debuted the new animated video for one of the songs from the show, 鈥淲eather the Storm.鈥� The video uses director Peter Baynton鈥檚 watercolor paintings; it was awarded the Public Choice For Best Music Video at the recent British Animation Awards.
