THE MAN WHO SHOT LIBERTY VALANCE
SEEKING:
HALLIE JACKSON 鈥� Female, Age 25 鈥� 35, Hallie is a strong-minded, rough talking girl. Underneath
her rough exterior is a beautiful and caring individual.
MOURNER / STUDENT / HALLIE JACKSON (understudy) - Female, Age 25 鈥� 35, Mourners attending Barricune鈥檚 funeral. Local townsfolk attending the school.
ALREADY CAST:
RANSOME FOSTER - CAST. Male, Age 30 鈥� 35, From New York. Well-read and well spoken. Ransome is stubborn and often arrogant but always well meaning.
BERT BARRICUNE 鈥� CAST. Male, Age 40 鈥� 50, Bert is a true gunslinger. He is worn and battered looking, but clearly handsome. He speaks only when he must.
JIM 鈥淭HE REVREND鈥� MOSTEN 鈥� CAST. Male, Age 20 鈥� 30, Jim is a young black swamper. He is kind, enthusiastic, well-mannered, full of energy and easy to fall in love with.
LIBERTY VALANCE 鈥� CAST. Male, Age 30 鈥� 40, Liberty is a Southern Gentleman, but his polite manner doesn鈥檛 disguise the scars on his face. He is terrifyingly unpredictable.
MARSHALL JOHNSON (understudy for BERT BARRICUNE) 鈥� CAST. Male, Age 50 鈥� 60, The Marshal talks the talk, but when it comes down to it, he鈥檚 a coward.
JAKE DOWITT (understudy for LIBERTY VALANCE) 鈥� CAST. Male, Age 25 鈥� 40, Jake is an enthusiastic reporter for a small local paper.
DEPUTY (understudy for RANSOME FOSTER) 鈥� CAST. Male, Age 25 鈥� 40, The Marshal鈥檚 deputy.
