The Gilded Age season three premieres June 22 on HBO Max. Before that, the show's cast celebrated the series' setting with a premiere in New York City at the BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center.

Present at the event were the show's cast members, many of whom are Broadway darlings: Christine Baranski, Cynthia NixonDen茅e Benton, Phylicia Rashad, Patrick Page, Celia Keenan-Bolger, and more.

The event included a screening of the first episode, a post-screening panel discussion with cast members Carrie Coon, Morgan Spector, and many others. And then there was an after-party at Cipriani25. See photos from the event below.

Photos: The Gilded Age Season 3 New York Premiere

Created by Julian Fellowes, the series takes place in turn-of-the-century New York and follows new money socialite Bertha Russell (played by Carrie Coon) as she navigates high society.

As previously reported, numerous Broadway alums are joining the series for the third season, including Phylicia Rashad (Purpose), Jordan Donica (Camelot), Brian Stokes Mitchell (Ragtime), Victoria Clark (Kimberly Akimbo), Kate Baldwin (Finian's Rainbow), Dylan Baker (The Good Wife), Michael Cumpsty (Severance), John Ellison Conlee (Boardwalk Empire), Bobby Steggert (Ragtime), Paul Alexander Nolan (Parade), Leslie Uggams (King Hedley II), Andrea Martin (McNeal), Jessica Frances Dukes (Trouble in Mind), and Hannah Shealy (The Rose Tattoo).

Returning cast members include Louisa Jacobson, Ben Ahlers, Christine Baranski, Kelley Curran, Taissa Farmiga, Claybourne Elder, Jack Gilpin, Simon Jones, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Debra Monk, Donna Murphy, Kristine Nielsen, Cynthia Nixon, Kelli O鈥橦ara, Patrick Page, Harry Richardson, Taylor Richardson, Blake Ritson, Douglas Sills, Erin Wilhelmi, Nathan Lane, Audra McDonald, John Douglas Thompson, Ashlie Atkinson, and Ward Horton.

Season three, press notes state, takes place after the Opera War, with the old guard weakened and the Russells poised to take their place at the head of society. Bertha sets her sights on a prize that would elevate the family to unimaginable heights while George (Spector) risks everything on a gambit that could revolutionize the railroad industry鈥攊f it doesn鈥檛 ruin him first. Across the street, the Brook household is thrown into chaos as Agnes (Baranski) refuses to accept Ada鈥檚 (Nixon) new position as lady of the house. Meanwhile, Peggy (Benton) meets a handsome doctor (Donica) from Newport whose family is less than enthusiastic about her career.

Created, written, and executive-produced by Fellowes, the creative and producing team also includes writer and executive producer Sonja Warfield, executive producer Gareth Neame, executive producer David Crockett, director and executive producer Michael Engler, director and executive producer Salli Richardson-Whitfield, executive producer Bob Greenblatt, and historical consultant and co-executive producer Erica Dunbar.

Casting for the series is by Bernie Telsey and Adam Caldwell from the Telsey Office.

The Gilded Age airs Sundays on HBO Max, beginning June 22.
