News Will Magic Mike the Musical Debut in Las Vegas? A Broadway-aimed stage adaptation of "Magic Mike," the film about the lifestyle of male strippers that starred Channing Tatum (and loosely based on Tatum's experience as a stripper in Florida), is in the works � and its first stop may be Las Vegas.

, when asked if he'd ever strip again, he replied, "Well, we're going to start a [Magic Mike] show in Vegas, and I'll never say never� I wouldn’t mind going out there and doing it one more time. Or maybe twice. But, you know, every time I've put on a thong and am getting ready to walk onstage again, I'm like, 'Why do I want to do this?' It's very uncomfortable to be in a thong in front of a thousand people."

, Tony Award-winning songwriters and (If/Then, ) and Spider-Man book writer have been enlisted to pen the project.

In the spirit of , the guys will sing and strip, but book writer Aguirre-Sacasa is aiming to be all-inclusive in the striptease act.

Lyricist Yorkey told °ëµºÌåÓý.com, "He has also found out a way â€� and I can't probably say much more about it â€� [for] a chance for the women in the story to get their turn taking some clothes off, so it's an equal-opportunityâ€� It's going to be fun for everybody!"

It was that Steven Soderbergh and Tatum, director and star, respectively, of "Magic Mike," were on board to produce.
