Casting is complete for the Paper Mill Playhouse's upcoming production of Disney鈥檚 The Little Mermaid, which will play the Millburn, New Jersey, venue May 29鈥揓une 29 with an official opening June 1.

The final production of Paper Mill鈥檚 2024-2025 season will be directed and choreographed by JoAnn M. Hunter (School of Rock, Bad Cinderella).

The cast will feature Hillary Fisher (The Notebook) as Ariel, Haven Burton (How to Dance in Ohio) as Ursula, Nick Cortazzo (Hadestown) as Jetsam, Mark Doyle (Moulin Rouge! The Musica tour) as Prince Eric, Sean Patrick Doyle (Kinky Boots) as Flotsam, Jared Goldsmith (Dear Evan Hansen) as Scuttle, Christopher Gurr (Parade) as Grimsby, Aubrey Matalon (SIX: The Musical) as Flounder, Kyle Taylor Parker (Kinky Boots) as Sebastian, and Graham Rowat (Mamma Mia!) as King Triton.

The ensemble will include David Baida, Caleb Bermejo, Kelsey Myron Cauthen, Tzintli Cerda, Jonathan Duvelson, Caroline Kane, Alexandra Matteo, Michael Milkanin, Mia Nelson, Justin O鈥橞rien, Charlie Ray, Lily Rose, Taylor Rosenberger, Kaitlyn Louise Smith, Richard Westfahl, and Peli Naomi Woods.

With music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater, and a book by Doug Wright, The Little Mermaid is based on the Hans Christian Andersen story and the Disney film produced by Ashman and John Musker and written and directed by Musker and Ron Clements.

The score features 鈥淯nder the Sea,鈥� 鈥淜iss the Girl,鈥� and 鈥淧oor Unfortunate Souls.鈥� The Broadway production played 50 previews and 685 regular performances at the Lunt-Fontanne November 3, 2007鈥揂ugust 30, 2009.

The Paper Mill production will also feature original scenic design by Kenneth Foy with scenic coordination and additional design by Kelly James Tighe; original costume design by Amy Clark and Mark Koss with costume coordination and additional design by Leon Dobkowski; lighting design by Charlie Morrison; sound design by Matt Kraus; hair and wig design by Leah J. Loukas; music direction by Nate Patten; and flying sequence choreography by Paul Rubin. Casting is by The TRC Company.

The production stage manager is Melissa Chac贸n.

Scenery, props, and sea costumes were created by a partnership with Broadway Dallas, Paper Mill Playhouse, Pittsburgh CLO, Starlight Theatre, and Theatre Under The Stars.
