Casting is now complete for the Goodspeed Musicals production of About Time, a new musical revue about life, love, and laughter in one's third act, set for May 24鈥揓une 15 at the Terris Theatre in Chester, Connecticut.
The Richard Maltby, Jr. and David Shire revue, also directed by Maltby, follows the songwriters' earlier revues Starting Here, Starting Now and Closer Than Ever.
The cast will feature Darius de Haas (Kiss of the Spider Woman), Shinnerrie Jackson, Daniel Jenkins (Oslo), Eddie Korbich (The Music Man), Olivier nominee Issy van Randwyck, and Lynne Wintersteller (A Grand Night for Singing). Casting is by The TRC Company's Merri Sugerman.
About Time features music by Oscar and Grammy winner Shire (Baby, Big, Norma Rae, Saturday Night Fever) with lyrics by Tony-winning director Maltby, Jr. (Miss Saigon, The Story of My Life, Fosse, Big, Baby, Ain鈥檛 Misbehavin鈥�.
The upcoming production will also have choreography and musical staging by Marcia Milgrom Dodge, musical direction by Deniz Cordell, costume design by Tracy Christensen, lighting design by Mitchell Fenton, and sound design by Jay Hilton.
