Last month, the Broadway production of & Juliet hosted a cover contest, with the winner getting their artwork featured on the show's 半岛体育. After receiving hundreds of submissions, a winner has been selected.

See the winning cover below, designed by Sarah Mitchell. The new artwork will be on the 半岛体育 cover of & Juliet for the entire month of May at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre.

Mitchell was inspired by Juliet's final costume in the show, while she sings "Roar." "It was such a pivotal moment," Mitchell says, "that she's risen, she's grown from her experiences...Being able to have graphic design and also have theatre and being able to combine the two with this contest, I think has truly been the best thing in my life."

The current Broadway cast of & Juliet at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre includes Maya Boyd as Juliet, NSYNC star Joey Fatone as Lance, Alison Luff as Anne, Drew Gehling as Shakespeare, Liam Pearce as Romeo, Michael Iv谩n Carrier as May, Jeannette Bayardelle as Ang茅lique, and Nathan Levy as Fran莽ois.

The company also includes Gabe Amato, Daniel Assetta, Reese Britts, Nicholas Cooper, Charlie D'Amelio, Jhailyn Paige Farcon, Makai Hernandez, Joomin Hwang, Khailah Johnson, Elsa Keefe, Alaina V铆 Maderal, Daniel J. Maldonado, Mackenzie Meadows, Alejandro MullerDahlberg, Ava Noble, Cassie Silva, Darien Van Rensalier, and Romy Vuksan.

Nominated for nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical, & Juliet flips the script on the William Shakespeare classic, imagining what would happen next if Juliet hadn鈥檛 ended it all over Romeo. Featuring a book by David West Read, the score includes a mix of tunes by Max Martin and more, including 鈥淪ince U Been Gone,鈥 鈥淩oar,鈥 鈥淚 Want It That Way,鈥 and 鈥淐onfident.鈥

The production also has direction by Luke Sheppard, choreography by Jennifer Weber, musical supervision, orchestrations, and arrangements by Bill Sherman, scenic design by Soutra Gilmour, costume design by Paloma Young, lighting design by Howard Hudson, sound design by Gareth Owen, video projection design by Andrzej Goulding, hair, wig, and makeup design by J. Jared Janas, and musical direction and additional orchestrations by Dominic Fallacaro.

U.S. casting is by Stephen Kopel and Carrie Gardner.

The international hit, which opened at the Sondheim November 17, 2022, was the first new musical of the 2022鈥2023 Broadway season to announce its recoupment.
