Barclays Center Tour - Actor/Tour Guide Audition Notice

Seeking Charismatic Actors for Live, Scripted Tour Experience

Barclays Center is casting engaging and dynamic actors to serve as tour guides for the Barclays Center Tour, a fully immersive experience that brings to life the history, culture, and behind-the-scenes magic of one of New York City鈥檚 premier sports and entertainment venues.

This is a public-facing, live performance role requiring strong memorization, audience engagement, and professional presentation skills. Actors will be responsible for delivering a structured, scripted 60-minute tour to a variety of audiences, providing an exciting and informative experience while maintaining factual accuracy.

About the Tour Duration: 60-minute guided experience
- Focus Areas: Brooklyn history, Barclays Center construction, iconic sports and entertainment moments
- Key Locations: Locker rooms, VIP suites, team areas, behind-the-scenes access
- Audience: Tourists, sports fans, students, and culture enthusiasts

What 奥别鈥檙别 Looking For
- A compelling storyteller with strong acting and public speaking skills
- Confident in engaging groups of 20-35 people and holding their attention throughout the tour
- Professional demeanor with strong memorization skills鈥攎ust be able to deliver a fully scripted tour while maintaining a natural, engaging presence
- Ability to provide accurate information while keeping the tour interactive and entertaining
- Knowledge or interest in Brooklyn history, sports, and entertainment is a plus
- Comfortable performing in an active, high-energy environment, leading groups through various areas of the arena

Compensation & Schedule
- Part-time, flexible shifts based on tour scheduling and arena events
- Competitive hourly pay ($30/hour)
- Potential for additional VIP/private tour bookings

Audition Process

Step 1: Self-Tape Submission
- Submit a 1-2 minute self-tape performing a provided scripted side
- Demonstrate strong memorization, clear delivery, audience engagement, and professional stage presence.
- Showcase energy and enthusiasm鈥攖his is a live performance role

Step 2: Zoom Interview
- Selected candidates will be invited to a virtual interview to discuss their experience and perform a short section of the tour script.
- Be prepared for general Q&A to demonstrate your ability to provide accurate, quick-thinking responses.

Step 3: In-Person Mock Tour (Final Round)
- Finalists will be invited to Barclays Center for a 10-minute walking tour audition.
- You will lead a small group through a mock tour segment, showcasing your ability to engage, project, and maintain scripted accuracy in a live setting.
