Casting has been revealed for Falling in Love with Mr. Dellamort, which will make its European premiere at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this summer, running at C ARTS/C aquila July 30鈥揂ugust 4.
Jack Feldstein and Paul Doust's new musical follows three people who receive a mysterious invitation to spend New Year鈥檚 Eve at Maison Dellamort: a remote seaside guest house with a peculiar host.
The cast will include Robert Tripolino (Les Miserables), Grace Farrell, Chris O鈥橫ara (Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club), Natalie Arle-Toyne, Jennie Jacobs, with New York Theremin artist Cornelius Loy.
The musical uses a unique blend of Foley sound effects and the Theremin鈥攁 musical instrument which requires no physical contact to be played鈥攆or its goth-pop score, with music by Doust and lyrics by both Feldstein and Doust. Feldstein has penned the book for the musical, which will be directed by Abigail Zealey Bess. Falling in Love With Mr. Dellamort was originally released as an audio musical through Broadway Podcast Network in 2021, with a cast that included James Monroe Iglehart, Courtney Reed, Lena Hall, Jackie Hoffman, Telly Leung, and Gavin Lee.
Falling in Love with Mr. Dellamort will feature music direction by Ben Papworth, sound design by Sarah Weltman, casting by Michael Howell, and general management by Clayton Howe and Mitchell Reeve for Across the Pond Theatrical Management.
