Two-time Oscar nominee Michael Shannon, who received a 2016 Tony nomination for his performance as James Tyrone Jr. in the Broadway revival of Eugene O鈥橬eill鈥檚 Long Day鈥檚 Journey Into Night, is co-producing Brett Neveu's new play Revolution Off-Broadway.

Directed by Rebecca Harris, performances begin May 15 for a limited engagement through June 7 at The Flea Theatre's Siggy Space.

The cast features Natalie West (Roseanne, The Conners) as Georgia, Clarissa Thibeaux (Marvel鈥檚 Runaways, Gentefied) as Puff, and Anna Basse (DUMMIES) as Jame as well as understudy Cassie Gilling.

Revolution is set on Puff鈥檚 26th birthday, and she鈥檚 celebrating it in the alley behind her hair salon. Joined by best friend and fellow stylist Jame and the unexpected company of Georgia, a 鈥淒ress for Less鈥 employee, this birthday hangout takes a turn.

The creative team also includes lighting designer Heather Gilbert, set and props designer Chris Fields, sound designer John Gromada, costume designer Lauren Carmen, props designer Cailey B. Harwood-Smith, stage manager Lucy Houlihan, and assistant stage manager Megan Ciszek.

The 90-minute intermissionless play was previously seen in Chicago in 2023.

Shannon (Shape of Water, Nocturnal Animals, Revolutionary Road, Boardwalk Empire, Knives Out) produces with Neveu and Becky Creech. Sophia Englesberg is the associate producer, Zachary Hausman is the executive producer, and Alex Lobel is the assistant producer.
