London's National Theatre celebrated the official opening of When We Have Sufficiently Tortured Each Other January 23, now running through March 2. The Martin Crimp play, starring Oscar winner and Tony nominee Cate Blanchett, revamps Samuel Richardson鈥檚 novel Pamela to tell the story of a teenage servant who refuses her master鈥檚 advances.

Pamela's narrative serves as inspiration for the new play about a night of S&M-themed role-play, in which five characters enter a risky game of sexual domination and resistance.
