The world premiere of Chisa Hutchinson鈥檚 play Somebody鈥檚 Daughter officially opens June 6 at the McGinn/Cazale Theatre as part of Second Stage Theatre鈥檚 2017 Uptown Series. Three generations of women find their identity in question in the new play, which sees a Chinese-American guidance counselor help a prot茅g茅 deal with gender bias.
Directed by May Adrales, the production has been extended and is scheduled to run through June 25. Performances began May 23.
The cast is made up of Vanessa Kai, Collin Kelly-Sordelet, Michelle Heera Kim, Rodney Richardson, David Shih, and Jeena Yi.
