The U.S. premiere Hannah Moscovitch鈥檚 Sexual Misconduct of the Middle Classes, starring Ella Beatty and Hugh Jackman, began performances Off-Broadway April 28, and the reviews are now rolling in.
The work centers on Jon (Jackman), an acclaimed novelist, a charismatic university professor, and a middle-aged man staring down the end of his third marriage. Enter Annie (Beatty) a 19-year-old star student and a huge fan of Jon鈥檚 work. As attraction draws them into dangerous territory, Moscovitch uses the slippery slope of perspective to highlight how things can go too far too fast, for all involved.
